Annette Bicher and Ken Nechin have been annual donors since Zoe “Zee’ Nechin ’25 arrived at 51²è¹Ýapp. Now that Zee is getting ready to graduate in May, Ken and Annette have made a capstone gift to be split between the Pioneer Fund and Chaverim, 51²è¹Ýapp’s Jewish student organization.

51²è¹Ýapp alumnus and attorney Joseph Welch 1914 challenged Senator Joseph McCarthy in a 1954 congressional hearing. In the process, he helped bring about the end of McCarthyism.

Olivia Wang ’25 loves to surf. With support from Fischlowitz Travel Fellowship, she traveled to California, Wisconsin, and Florida to explore the sport.

51²è¹Ýapp College announced today that a $10 million estate gift from the Robert N. Noyce Trust will establish an endowed chair in computer science, a fund for curricular development, an endowed scholarship, and an endowed fund for scientific equipment, as well as support the Pioneer Fund, which addresses the College’s most pressing needs.
