    The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is pleased to announce the opening of the Latinx/e Cultural Center (LCC) in August 2024. The Latinx/e Cultural Center will expand the co-curricular affinity offerings modeled by the Conney M. Kimbo Black Cultural Center, Stonewall Resource Center, and Disability Cultural Center by serving as a place for Latinx/e students, faculty, and staff to gather, celebrate culture, and feel a sense of belonging on campus.

    A large solar array north of the 51app College Golf Course is live, providing the College with four megawatts of power — approximately one third of the campus’ total energy needs. It is the largest private solar installation in Iowa.

    Seeds of Knowledge

    Yoo is teaching a three-part series about native plants this spring. In March, the students learned to germinate seeds. In April, they transplanted their seeds into cone-tainers, and next, they will plant their seeds into the middle school prairie.
